    The Louis Vuitton 37ª America's Cup is the city's greatest sporting event of 2024. To mark the occasion, several local organizations, institutions, and facilities are organizing a Cultural Regatta. In the months before, during, and after the America's Cup, the city will be filled with cultural, artistic, culinary, scientific, and leisure activities open to both residents and visitors. These will include talks, exhibitions, art installations, shows, family activities, and much more at different venues around the city. In addition, the Port Olímpic, the venue for the America's Cup, will be reborn as a new urban space to host some of the activities.

    Mar i Cel

    The Dagoll Dagom company returns to the stage to perform Catalonia's most emblematic musical, Mar i Cel. This is a revival with which, in 2024, the company says its final farewell. Mar i Cel is based on the play by Àngel Guimèrà, with music by the Catalan composer Albert Guinovart and text by Xavier Bru de Sala. Since 1988 it has had three runs, the last being ten years ago. On this occasion, the show returns for the last time to recreate the story of pirates and Christians locked in a lost ship in the middle of the sea.
